The goal here is to place the bailing hand farther and farther forward. This will morph the bail from a side movement to a forward-going, gymnastic dismount like exit.
The goal of the “far bail” is to make your bail less and less reactive and more and more controlled, and to push how far the bail can actually be triggered.
The further you trigger a bail, the less sideways and the more forward you will land.
In this drill, we use the external cue of landing in a straight line from where we left as to prompt our body to stay a bit less side ways.
Recommended volume: 8 - 12. Be mindful of not slamming your hands.
