Sidewalks are just a fun and easy way for you to keep working on your one-arm control.
Just as everything else when it comes to the one-arm, at first your goal is to survive a couple of steps without falling, not paying too much attention to your alignment or the level of macro and micro corrections you're doing, and by the time you can perform, say, 4 to 5 steps with ease, then we will try to make each step as clean as possible, and as reflective of the technique as to happen in the one-arm as possible.
